George Harrison

今年是George Harrison (25 February 1943 – 29 November 2001)逝世十周年，他是誰？樂隊Beatles 成員，負責主音結他，身兼主唱和作曲，被滾石雜誌譽為「一百位偉大結他手」排行第21位。

George 於六十年代信奉印度文化，在樂隊時期引入印度樂器Sitar，令音樂編曲增添一點神秘色彩，創作出豐富質感的音樂，他熱愛樂器程度猶如一位愛劍的武士，百分百投入。

雖然大多數Beatles 作品都是由John Lennon 和 Paul McCartney負責，從專輯With the Beatles開始，George 亦作出貢獻，經典作品包括 "Here Comes the Sun", "Something" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

後來樂隊解散，George 於1970年推出All Things Must Pass大碟，其中細碟歌曲My Sweet Lord 是檔主喜歡的歌曲，事緣廿多年前無線在農曆新年期間重播許氏兄弟「精裝雙星報喜」，阿Sam於節目重唱這首歌，MV畫面以當年新聞紀錄片作為片段，令我印象非常深刻，多年後得知原唱者乃George Harrison ，自然付款買碟支持，即使已有mp3版本，那時喜歡擁有實物的感覺。(一笑)

自己絕不是忠實歌迷，為了聽Got My Mind Set On You，買另一隻精選Best Of Dark Horse 1976-1989。
